Bottom Line
What we loved
The sharing platter ($68) is a great price to have a variety of food options • Mr. Stork Sliders ($22) • Crispy Prawn Wonton ($25) • K-Pop Chicken ($22) • Pizzette Margherita ($20) • Signature Truffle & Seaweed Fries ($22)
Staff is very gracious. We did not have a reservation on a weekend & they were able to seat us. As the sun was setting, we asked to move under the shade & they graciously moved our table into the shade.
World of Hyatt Members offered a 10% discount, which we had to ask for applied to the bill.
What we did not like
Depending on when you arrive, seating might be an issue. A tip is to make a reservation for a weekend visit.
The QR code on the table had a Lunar New Year drink listed for $20. I ordered it & after paying the bill I noticed I was charged $27 for the drink. I reached out to the staff who stated that the drink I ordered (off the menu) was no longer available & which is why they charged more for the customization. The staff removed the $27 charge.
Verdict
We were staying at the Andaz Singapore (review here) and wanted to try some of their restaurants. We visited, sans reservation, during our weekend stay with the intent of sampling both food and happy hour beverages. Great food with great service marred by unrelenting direct sunlight. Would definitely visit again, opting for post-sunset dining experience.
